Vito's has been on our list for a long time. Because we live in Utah county making it up here on a weekday for lunch is difficult. But we finally made it today as we had a Dr appt in the area and boy are we happy we did! The line was not too long. We had the Mushroom Cheesesteak and got a side of both the jalapeno sauce and the Alfredo. The bread is made fresh and it tastes fresh, no store bought bread here. The cheesesteak was loaded with steak, peppers, mushrooms and onions. It was served with an American/swiss blend of cheese, which was not prominently featured. We are glad we got the sauces. We preferred the jalapeño sauce, which is like a runny jalepeno cream cheese, served cold. The Alfredo, was served hot (so hot I burned my mouth), but it didn't have a lot of flavor. Next time, I'd skip the Alfredo and just do the jalapeño sauce, which you can get for free by asking. (Or you can buy a large container for $3)

Vito's! Wow, this place is great. One man show, cash only, honor system, simple. The food is great and fast. He's even wonderful about substitutions, which I tend to omit things and very much appreciate this about him. Sometimes the line is long, sometimes you walk right in. Totally worth it no matter what. I just wish this place was a tad bigger to accommodate more tables, but either way, I'll be a customer for life! I live in SLC but drive to Bountiful for this gem. I will come back many times over when I'm craving a cheesesteak, which is often.

This is my favorite place for lunch! The sandwiches are amazing and full of fresh ingredients. And I mean full! No skimping here! The normal 8" is so filling! Sometimes I can't finish it. The flavor of the mushrooms is my favorite. And the Alfredo sauce is to die for! Service is fast, even though it's a 1-2 man show. The line is always out the door since it's not open long, but it's fast. Make sure you have exact change. You just put money into a container on the counter. I love the atmosphere and the friendly service. It's a great local spot with a small town local feel. And it helps me miss Pennsylvanias amazing sub/pizza shops a little less!

Oh wow, these Philly steak sandwiches are delicious. I think this has been the best I've ever tried. I was lucky when I arrived. I was 2nd in line, but the line got all the way out to the restaurant once I was getting my order. This place only takes cash; I wasn't prepared, but good thing they had an ATM. Great customer service; they're really friendly. The place's small, but there are also tables outside to enjoy the good weather.

This is a tiny little place in bountiful on a street corner with a surprising amount of seating inside and outside. The line is always way out the door. The owner cooks everything himself and he does fantastic! The food is good quality and so worth the wait in line. The owner just runs it himself and when he runs out of supplies he closes up. Absolutely delicious!!!

Was bumping around Bountiful around lunch time and had to take advantage of Vito's open hours and so we stopped by for lunch. Vito is a graduate of WX High so love supporting an old classmate from my graduating class. I usually get a Philly but decided to try the sausage sandwich and it was amazing. Greasy as you'd expect but very good. It's a sausage patty, not a link, grilled with onions and peppers. And packs a ton of flavor. 5/5 My wife ordered the classic Philly with just onions and loved it. I put a little jalapeño sauce on the bite she gave me and thought it was amazing. But I like a little kick. 5/5 Cash only, pay as you order on the honor system. Comes with a drink and chips. Great food. One man operation, only open for lunch.

I drove up from salt lake on a day off, and was very impressed with so many things about this business. The quality of my meal was fantastic and watching g someone make it in front of you really sets this apart. Fresh, flavorful, and great ratios, this really is a great place. I love that the costs are kept low by having people clean their own tables, the fact that it's a 1 man show, and that they are cash only and require you to handle the cash transaction. Fantastic sandwich, great experience, and the only thing slowing me down from visiting again are the limited hours.

This is easily the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had. I ordered an 8" Classic and when it was handed to me, I thought it was so huge I'd never finish it. But finish it I did. Turns out, I could have handled more than 8". Who knew? Cash only. Limited seating. Only open until 2pm. You'd think with these possible strikes, Vito would struggle for business, but the line gets long. Customers know it's worth it. I'd come back for more even if he made me pay in quarters
